If you’re anything like me then you’ve probably spent a fair amount of your life scratching your head about how to have a healthy and loving relationship.
I mean how the heck are we meant to learn what’s healthy and unhealthy in relationships when this stuff isn’t taught at school?
Up until I learned my pattern for attracting narcissistic individuals (and no, not just someone with an inflated ego - those with NPD are highly destructive and create this roller coaster ride of highs and lows that you wish you’d never stepped foot on) I had no idea there was even such a thing as healthy or unhealthy relationships…and unfortunately I had to learn this the hard way.
But you don’t have to!
It’s the reason why I’m so passionate about the work that I do and the women that I support. See a lot of what we’ve learned about relationships has been unconscious. We’ve learned ways of ‘relating’ to others through our childhood experiences and our primary caregivers - our programming in those early years of life impact our view on love, relationships and even our bigger understandings of the world significantly.
